Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are your hours of operation?

A. We are open 9am to 4:30pm (EST) Tuesday through Friday. We are closed for all nationally recognized holidays.

Q. Do you have a tech I can speak with?

A. We do have two (2) Lincoln Master Techs and one (1) 70s Expert. They are normally available for support from 10am to 1:45pm (EST).
Our 70s Expert is available by email only ([email protected])

Q. I need a part, but I don’t know my part number. Can you help?

A. While we are happy to assist in most cases, there are times that we cannot supply the labor of research. Your best bet for finding your part number is to purchase your Maintenance Manual or Master Parts Catalog from us!

Q. My order included core charges. How do I return my cores to receive a refund?

A. Follow these instructions...

  1. Make sure your core is drained to the best of your ability. Most shipping companies deem ANY liquid leaking from boxes as hazardous, and in some cases, the shipping company will deny delivery completely. We will charge you a $75.00 Hazardous Fluid Disposal Fee for any packages that are labeled as hazardous by the shipper. In the event you choose not to drain the core, this fee will be invoiced directly to the customer and billed immediately, or reduced from your Core Charge/Core Refund.
  2. Water Pump Cores include a special instructional for returning., make sure you read that detailed info pack,
  3. Make a copy of your invoice and include it in an obvious spot in your package so that we can process your refund in a timely manner. It takes much longer when we must figure out who sent us this core and why!
  4. Package your core properly to ensure it does not get damaged from shipping. NO refunds are issued for cores damaged by negligence in packaging!
  5. Protect the packaging by wrapping the box seams with packing tape. Wrapping the whole box in tape makes it more waterproof but is not necessary.
  6. Choose a shipping method (i.e., UPS, FedEx, or DHL) that will pay your insured amount in the event of damage. Although the United States Postal Service is the most cost effective for shipping, they are more likely to deny any claims for large amounts. Use your best judgment on this step, as we will NOT offer any refunds for cores that get lost in transit.
  7. Ship your FULLY INSURED package to: 2040A Gentry Street, Clearwater, Florida 33765.
Retain your tracking number & track your package!
  8. Allow a reasonable amount of time to analyze the core to ensure it is rebuildable. This sometimes requires having outside vendors verify the product and the integrity, which can take upwards of 2-3 weeks. On some Water Pump Cores, the lead time on the core refund can vary to approximately 1 month. All 1952-1955 Tredelvac Cores, can take approximately 1 month to be evaluated, so be advised.
  9. We will Try to refund your core charge on the next calendar Friday. But there are exceptions to this, please read # 8 Above. Please allow 3-5 business days for the bank to release the funds back to your original form of payment
