New Old Stock & Rebuilt -Charging Indicator Gauge Dash- OEM NOS
The charging system on the 1964 and 1965 Lincolns are unique to that era as the AMP gauge is very involved in the correct function of the whole electrical system as much of the power travels through this gauge. This amp gauge is also extremely problematic when and if it develops poor connections or short circuits at its connections behind the dash. Many technicians are not aware of this fact, as they are not familiar with the more common “Shunt” style of charge indicators.
Due to these Problems these tend to MELT!!!! Check your System before installing, if not YOU WILL MELT THIS NOS one and it is not our Problem, it is your systems.
This will be tested and in working order. This NOS Part is Very Very RARE, be advised.
Small Chip on the Yellow/ Orange Indicator, you can touch up with Model Airplane Paint.
This has been rebuilt by my expert 12/20/23, so that the AMP reads Perfectly! This wont last long, so please don't wait, I have NEVER Seen an NOS One before.
